The Association for the Support of Developmentaly Disabled Individuals Stari grad from Belgrade, Serbia invite you to an

INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELECTUAL DISABILITIES „LIVE TOGETHER“

which will take place in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, in period May 13 -17, 2009.

The Congress  is designed for  adults with intelectual disabilities and their attendants and/or experts who work with them.  The purpose of the congress is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of  life and social status of adults with intellectual disabilities.

The Congress will comprise two parallel programs. The first one is for adults with intelectual disabilities and the second for their attendants-companions and professionals. The main objective is to present different practises and promote the exchange of ideas, knowledge, achievements, as well as attitudes regarding the social status and problems which the population is experiencing. In addition to working programs, the Congress will have a cultural and artistic program, and enough free time for introductions, socializing and in general having a good time.

Many participants, from 11 countries in our neigbour and from Serbia, confirmed their participations. They are persons developmentaly disabled with their attendants. Participants of the Congress are provided with  accomodation, food, work material and a comprehensive program during the five days of the Congress.

The participation fee is the same for all participants: travel costs + 80€ per person. Outstanding costs will be covered by the organizers of the Congress.
